Democrats Unable To Produce A Single Targeted Liberal Group For IRS Hearing

IRS targeting conservative groups

During a House Ways and Means Committee hearing on Tuesday, six persons were called to testify about their groups being targeted by the Internal Revenue Service. The witnesses were all from various conservative, Tea Party, pro-life, pro-marriage, and other patriotic groups.

Although the Democrats on the committee were given the opportunity to call up a witness from a liberal group targeted by the IRS, they declined because they apparently could not find any, according to Ways and Means Chairman David Camp, from Michigan.

After another member of the committee said that both sides (meaning conservatives and liberals) should be questioned in the hearing about questions they were asked by the IRS, Camp made this clarification statement, “I do want to note that the minority was given the opportunity to call up a witness but did not present a witness that had been affected by taxpayer activity, by IRS activity, so that’s why there is no minority witness at the table today.”

You would think the Democrats could come up with someone, even if the corrupt Obama administration had to pay them. But oh, that would be illegal, wouldn't it?
