Denver Post Edited Own Story To Remove Label Of Colorado School Shooter As “Socialist”

Karl Pierson- card carrying Socialist

When a mass shooting or any other tragic event happens and there are guns involved, opportunist politicians and the liberal leaning media goes overboard to try and find any scintilla of evidence that the shooter or shooters might have at one time listened to Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck or any other conservative radio host. Either that or maybe they once picked up an NRA bumper sticker in a sporting goods store 5 years ago and therefore we will pin a horrific act of violence on Republicans and the 2nd Amendment. And these same opportunists sometimes wait just a few hours or so after the event unfolds before they, with little evidence, start tossing blame out to to the "right wing."

Conversely though, when one of these twisted individuals more line up in their mode of thinking with today's media and current Obama administration having a outright Socialist bent and are proud of it as was Arapahoe High School shooter Karl Pierson, that information is suppressed as in the case of what the Denver Post did just a few days ago.

Pierson was labeled a "very opinionated socialist" by a classmate in a story on the Post's website, but by the next day, the word "Socialist" had been scrubbed from the story. If Pierson was to have had pictures of George W Bush plastered all over his bedroom, or was a member of the NRA, we would have immediately had pictures and every camera hog, left leaning, anti-2nd Amendment loony bin politician dancing before the TV cameras and appearing on a slew of MSNBC shows in a matter of a couple of hours.

Liberal hypocrisy knows no bounds and has no limits.

On the evening of December 13, in which 18-year-old Karl Pierson entered Arapahoe High School and shot two students, The Denver Post published a description of the teen as a “very opinionated socialist.” However, by the next day, the description merely read that he was “very opinionated.” The word “socialist” was scrubbed without explanation.

The story written for the Post by Zahira Torres and Yesenia Robles initially buried the fact that the young man was identified as a socialist in the 13th paragraph.

In the first paragraph the paper noted that Pierson was “outspoken about politics,” and in the third quoted a friend who said that the shooter “had very strong beliefs about gun laws and stuff.”

But readers had to wait until the 13th paragraph to read what direction those outspoken political views took.

That paragraph originally read: “Thomas Conrad, who had an economics class with Pierson, described him as very opinionated Socialist.”

But by Saturday morning, the Post had quietly sent the word “socialist” down the Internet memory hole. The revised paragraph simply reported that Pierson was very opinionated.

The new paragraph read: “Thomas Conrad, who had an economics class with Pierson, described him as very opinionated.”
