Michigan high school assignment

As our culture declines, some in the education industry think it is appropriate to teach kids about condoms and sex education at an earlier and earlier age, and other signs of societal decay such as trying to figure out who is the father of a baby which belongs to a woman who is rather promiscuous.

For some bureaucrats of the system that educates our children, it is all in a days work to make sure students get in touch with the thinking process that produces the situation in the above pictured assignment.

Some of us don't think the assignment above is appropriate, as did one Michigan father who's high school aged child brought it home.

Once we get it in the schools, it's only a matter of time before it get to be the accepted way of living, or sleeping around as the case may be.

A homework assignment that asked Michigan high school students to figure out who fathered a fictitious baby outraged one father so much that he sent the worksheet back with the note: “We teach our children not to sleep around.”

Students in a ninth-grade biology class at Romeo High School were given a homework assignment on DNA that included a question about a mother trying to determine “who the father of her baby was,” according to WDIV-TV.

The assignment said:

“The sister of the mom above also had issues with finding out who the father of her baby was. She had the state take a blood test of potential fathers. Based on the information in this table, why was the baby taken away by the state after the test?”

Possible answers in the multiple-choice question suggested the father could have been the cable guy, the mailman, the cab driver, the bartender or a guy she met at a club.

“What are they teaching?” parent Larry Basaj asked the local NBC affiliate. “I couldn’t come up with the words. I was like, ‘Oh, my God.’ It’s teaching them that it’s OK to not know who it is because you can have the state help you. And if they can’t help you, they are going to take your child away, and it’s not the way it is. I was beyond fired up last night.”
