Jesse Jackson – Gun Manufacturers Are Responsible For Mass Shootings

Never one to miss a cue and chime in with utter absurdity, the Reverend Jesse Jackson has said that assault weapons are a "threat to national security" and gun manufacturers should be held responsible for these mass shootings taking place. We're surprised that either the Rev Jackson or his partner in crime Al Sharpton have taken this long to respond in the matter of the latest two mass killings.

We are pretty sure Mr Sharpton will come out with some equally ridiculous sound bite meant to do little more than inflame the situation, but never really be willing to take a look at what actually causes these tragedies. Here is more of what Jesse had to say with part of the transcript and the video below. Why does the many always sound like he has rocks in his mouth?

“These semi-automatic weapons, these assault weapons, can only kill people and in fact are threats to national security," Jackson said. "The young man who did the killing in Aurora, Colorado with the arsenal he had. He was right near the airport, right near the runways near the airport in Denver. He could shoot down airplanes. So this is a matter of homeland security,"
