Jesse Jackson Jr Goes From Winning His Congressional Seat To Plea Deal That Could Send Him To Jail

I can't think of any other example to show how blind voters must have been in their election choice than to have voted in Jesse Jackson Jr for another term in Congress despite his serious emotional problems and his criminal misuse of campaigns to buy a Rolex watch for a female friend and to decorate his home. It is as if the truth does not even matter any longer.

Jesse Jackson Jr somehow managed to win his congressional seat in the Chicago area district he represents, but he now faces jail time in his plea deal. This example just shows how utterly blind some liberal voters are. To elect a man, by a huge margin nonetheless for whatever reason when he has been unable to preform the duties of his office and is facing criminal corruption charges is mind boggling. Yes, Barack Hussein Obama won re-election, but it obviously means nothing when people like this are voting for you.

Read part of the story from CBS News below and watch the video report after that:

Just days after winning a handy reelection to his Chicago-area district, 17-year Rep. Jesse Jackson, Jr., D-Ill., has entered negotiations for a plea deal that would include his resignation from Congress and likely jail time.

Jackson, Jr., the son of civil rights activist Rev. Jesse Jackson, Sr., and husband to Chicago Alderman Sandi Jackson, has not yet pleaded guilty to alleged misuse of campaign funds to decorate his house and purchase a $40,000 Rolex watch for a female friend. But CBS Chicago reports the congressman's lawyer, white-collar criminal defense attorney Dan Webb, is negotiating with the federal government a plea bargain that will likely be reached by year's end.
