Kentucky Sheriff Denny Peyman Will Not Comply with Obama Gun Control

Thankfully we are starting to see people willing to stand up to the controlling liberal agenda trying to usrup the Second Amendment. First we had Marine veteran Joshua Boston write a letter to Senator Dianne Feinstein and flatly say, "I will not register my weapons should this bill be passed" speaking of proposed legislation by the Senator that would require gun owners to be fingerprinted and photographed.

Now we have a law enforcement official from the state of Kentucky making it clear that no law which violates the Constitution will be upheld in his county.

Jackson County Kentucky Sheriff Denny Peyman said that, "My office will not comply with any federal action which violates the United States Constitution or the Kentucky Constitution which I swore uphold. Let them pull that stuff in other places if they want, but not in Jackson County, Kentucky."

Peyman hopes that by him taking a stand against federal intrusion in his jurisdiction that other law enforcement officials around Kentucky and the nation will be willing to stand up as well. “Just a few of us have to be willing to stand up to political opposition putting our people at risk,” Peyman said. “The other side will back down.”

While we have the rude Brit Piers Morgan calling Second Amendment advocates "unbelievably stupid", we have patriots like Sheriff Denny Peyman willing to stand up and be a patriot in light opposition to the ever intrusive federal government. Hats off to Sheriff Peyman and let's hope there are more law enforcement officials around the nation willing to stand bedside him as well.
