Media Ignores Substance Of Marco Rubio’s SOTU Rebuttal – CNN Asks If “Watergate” Is A Career Ender?

Marco Rubio water

The big story after Marco Rubio's Republican rebuttal to the socialist agenda of Barack Obama's State Of The Union Show, was Rubio's mistake in not putting a bottle of water close enough for him to reach. In a slightly awkward moment during his rebuttal to the most liberal State of the Union ever, Rubio has to make a long reach for a drink of water when his mouth apparently went dry.

But of course, Wolf Blitzer of CNN had to absurdly ask if the Savior Of The Republican Party as Time Magazine dubbed him, had a career ending moment with his minor slip up. Blitzer asked, "So can a drink of water make or break a political career? A U.S. Senator, possible presidential candidate. We're going to find out, whether he likes it or not."

So this is what passes for news today. CNN, nor any other State Run Media outlet, cannot bring themselves to cover what Rubio rebutted in his speech on what Obama said. They cannot discuss the fact that Obama has run up astronomical debts. They cannot bring themselves to discuss Obama's creepy pre-school initiative of indoctrinating our children at an even earlier age with government sponsored learning for all 3 and 4 year olds. No, what we get instead is an idiotic discussion of an awkward moment caught on tape by Marco Rubio. They won't ever report on any of the hundreds of Joe Biden gaffes, but we get to hear about a republican's gaffe because that is real news.
