Mayor Bloomberg gun contraol zealot

This can only come from the nanny mayor of New York City Michael Bloomberg who seems to have extraordinary trouble even remotely thinking like a cognitive member of the human race. Apparently he doesn't believe in the rule of law and our system of justice in this country when things don't go his way. In light of the George Zimmerman not guilty verdict and the death of Trayvon Martin, Bloomberg has come out and said that this case is proof positive we need more gun regulations. What?

More than likely, if George Zimmerman would not have had a gun Trayvon Martin would have been alive today, but what would have happened to Zimmerman? Would he have gotten his head bashed in by Martin. Would he still be alive today? Would Zimmerman have been killed or severely to critically injured if he had not had a weapon?

While the death of Trayvon Martin is a tragedy and is horrendous for his parents, friends and relatives to have to go through, Mayor Bloomberg is a complete simpleton for thinking you can make any law that would specifically deal with the circumstances in any single case where someone is injured or killed by a gun. And not only is Bloomberg a simpleton, he is also a scheming opportunist to try and take advantage of the Zimmerman verdict to advance his draconian legislation that would have no effect on cases like the Zimmerman Martin incident.

The New York Mayor would use a change in the weather to push for more gun control if he could get away with it. Michael Bloomberg is an obsessed, anti-2nd Amendment zealot that doesn't even know what a semi-automatic weapon is. He has no business being the mayor of a major American city.

George Zimmerman may have been cleared of all charges, but New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg used the trial to advance his own anti-gun agenda anyway, pointing to “the tragic death of Trayvon Martin” as proof positive of the need for more regulations.

His statement, The New York Post reported: “One face has long been crystal clear: ‘Shoot first’ laws, like those in Florida, can inspire dangerous vigilantism and protect those who act recklessly with guns. Such laws, drafted by gun-lobby extremists in Washington, encourage deadly confrontations by enabling people to shoot first and argue ‘justifiable homicide’ later. The tragic death of Trayvon Martin, an unarmed child attempting to walk home from the store, will continue to drive our efforts [to change those laws].”
