Now that President Obama has won the November 6th election for a second term over Mitt Romney, us conservatives are forced to listen to liberal troublemakers endlessly spout how we should just accept that Obama has 4 more years and we should move on and get over it. They say that the general election proved that the President now has a mandate to implement his socialist policies. Nothing could be further from the truth.
No, President Barack Hussein Obama does not have a mandate to do anything even though he is talking like he is king of the world in his latest press conference. Even though he won the electoral college by a landslide and won the popular vote by more than 3 million votes he does not have some so-called mandate.
The population of the United States is approximately 311 million men, women and children.
Of those 311 million, 217 million are eligible to vote.
Obama received approximately 63 million votes.
That means Obama received about 29% of the eligible votes available.
That means 29% of eligible voters or 20% of the people in the United States controlled the choices of all of us.
Despite all the efforts of both candidates there were 7 million less votes cast this time around then there were in 2008.
I don't know who President Obama or the liberals think they are, but these results tell me that there are a whole lot of disgruntled people in the United States that don't want to cast a ballot for either candidate.
Of all the eligible voters in this country, 154,400,000 of them did not vote for President Obama. He does not have a mandate.
