Stephen Curry NBA most valuable player

Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors was just awarded the 2014-2015 NBA Most Valuable Player award this week after beating the Cleveland Cavaliers, and his acceptance speech truly showed his humility, something very rare in the NBA, and his thankfulness to his Savior Jesus Christ which is almost anathema in the media today.

There is plenty of hypocrisy and corruption within the NBA so we love seeing real family values and strong unashamedly, Christian faith. Its no wonder why Curry has gained such a prominent position in the NBA. Not only does Curry have an outstanding talent, he is willing to serve and is not afraid to be a man of God in front of or behind the spotlight and cameras.

Here is a brief quote from Curry as he started his press conference just after winning the NBA finals:

“First and foremost I have to thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for blessing me with the talents to play this game, with the family to support me, day in, day out. I’m his humble servant right now and I can’t say enough how important my faith is to who I am and how I play the game."
