Obamacare lies Jonathan Gruber

Here are the top 11 Obamacare lies and bogus Obamacare facts. You may or may not know them all...

1. President Obama said he would be transparent about Obamacare and he was not - It was evident when Jonathan Gruber's statement came out that Obamacare was specifically designed to fool the "stupid American voter" that Obama never had any intension of being honest about what he was doing.

2. Obama Lied about who Jonathan Gruber was - Gruber was considered by many to be the architect of Obamacare and President Obama said that he was, "some adviser who never worked on our staff" despite the fact that he had been in several meetings with President Obama. Gruber made over $400,000 consulting with Obama about Obamacare. We're pretty sure the president know who he was.

3. Obama said, "One thing we can’t say is that we didn’t have a lengthy debate over health care in the United States." which of course is a flat out lie. There was no debate at all in Congress about Obamacare, there was an argument. Obama whined incessantly about those mean Republicans who would not work with him over the table and then spent YOUR tax money flying around the country telling you how evil Republicans were. Obama basically said, give me everything I want and I'm not giving an inch.

4. Obamacare was so complicated, no one who voted for it even knew what was in it. - All you need to know on this one is the dumbest all time quote from a politician ever. Remember when Nancy Pelosi said, "We have to pass the bill to know what's in the bill." I rest my case.

5. Obama insisted the individual mandate was not a tax, it was a tax. When ABC's George Stephanopoulos confronted Obama about the tax issue, George read the definition of a tax from the dictionary to Obama, with which he responded, "The fact that you looked up … the definition of tax increase, indicates to me that you’re stretching a little bit right now. Otherwise, you wouldn’t have gone to the dictionary to check on the definition.”

Uh, what. Isn't that why we HAVE a dictionary, to make sure we know the exact meaning of words?

6. "You can keep your doctor and you can keep your plan" There's no bigger lie than this one. George H W Bush didn't get reelected because of the "read my lips, no new taxes" pledge he couldn't keep and the you can keep your doctor lie is 10 times bigger because it directly affects so many people and Obama told it so many times.

7. Everyone Will Save Money With Obamacare - There are several success stories of people only having to pay $39 a month or so for their Obamacare coverage, however, what you never hear about these so-called success stories is that they are ALL subsidized. No one is getting healthcare coverage for $39 a month, the rest of us are filling in the other $200 to $400 a month or higher for anyone who's paying premiums that low.

8. While we are on subsidies, the Obamacare Law specifically states subsidies would only be available, "through an exchange established by the state", but when only 36 states refused to set up exchanges, Obama took it upon himself to start dolling out large quantities of subsidies so people wouldn't know the true cost of Obamacare. This is the current case before the supreme court as of video press time.

9. Another one of the promises of Obamacare was that the average family would save $2,500 a year with the program - There doesn't seem to be a single family to come forward to testify this has actually happened. Except of course, for the fake success stories of people who are getting large subsidies, no one is saving money with Obamacare.

10. Fake Obamacare Signup Numbers - While Obama and company like to brag about their 11.4 million Obamacare sign ups, the fact is, sign-ups do not equal enrollment. You actually have to pay your first premium to count as fully enrolled. While Obama counts the 11.4 million number, he conveniently forgets to tell you that 4.7 million of those people lost their plans in 2013 so the net gain is really only 6.7 million.

11. Someone got very rich building a disastrous Obamacare website - and that someone went to school with Michelle Obama. Healthcare.gov cost almost 1 billion initially to build, but who can forget the disastrous rollout that cost American taxpayers even more once all the flaws were found in the architecture of the site.
