Obama Bill O'Reilly interview

With Obama's all powerful bully pulpit of the presidency of the Unites States, he has managed to stonewall and deflect to make the IRS scandal just one more of those areas of corruption he is involved in, to almost go away.

That of course was exactly what he was trying to do in his interview with Fox New's Bill O'Reilly this past Sunday evening when he was question about that scandal and in specific about the 157 visits the head of the IRS made to the White House. Obama responded that he didn't know about them and he never had any contact with the IRS chief and then reiterated how much this was such a non-scandal in his mind by saying there was not, "Even a smidgen of corruption" behind the scandal.

This is your president talking, America. How do you like it?

President Obama in a pre-Super Bowl interview with Fox News said that there was “not even a smidgen of corruption” behind the Internal Revenue Service’s targeting of conservative groups.

“There were some boneheaded decisions,” he said. “Not even mass corruption. Not even a smidgen of corruption.”

He said the IRS treated the conservative groups the way it did because of confusion over how to apply the law on social welfare groups

“What happened here is you have a 501c4 law that people think is confusing,” he said. “The folks did not know how to implement it.”
