Mayor Bloomberg Meet the Press Wayne Lapierre

If you watched Meet The Press with David Gregory Sunday morning March 24 you may have seen what a scary man New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg really is. Not only does Mayor Bloomberg want to ban 20 ounce sodas, trans-fat oils, cigarettes (which he has already done), so-called assault weapons, handguns and ammo magazines over 9 rounds, he has the utter audacity to say he doesn't want to ban anything, all he wants to do is educate people.

Not only does Mayor Bloomberg want to create a nanny city in New York and regulate just abut everything people do, he is also spending some of his multi-billion dollar fortune buying propaganda ads around the nation trying push unconstitutional gun control on all of us. What mayor Bloomberg is doing is running ads that appear to be asking people to protect gun rights by demanding background checks. He is fraudulently framing his commercials as though they are pro 2nd Amendment. They are not!

As Wayne Lapierre points out in the second video below, there is not a single piece of legislation before Congress right now that is just a background check bill. No such bill exists. Every bill in Congress right now and every bill before state legislatures not only proposes universal background checks, but they also include some kind of so-called assault weapons ban, an attempted handgun ban, a magazine limit ban or some other restrictive measure. And the problem we see even with universal background checks, is that they will require you to do a background check on your neighbor, or brother, or friend, even if you have known them for years before you can sell them a firearm.

It is an outright lie what Mayor Bloomberg is doing and we are surprised that a sitting Mayor of a major city can spend his own money trying to push his personal agenda on the American people while he is in office.

Watch this pure propaganda video below Bloomberg is paying for that is made to look like a pro gun argument:

To rebut Bloomberg  and his anti 2nd Amendment proposals, NRA Chairman Wayne Lapierre was in rare form on Meet The Press Sunday and below is a little bit of what he had to say in speaking of the propaganda Mayor Michael Bloomberg is trying to push on America:

"He's going to find out this is a country of the people, by the people, and for the people. And he can't spend enough of his $27 billion to try to impose his will on the American public. They don't want him in their restaurants, they don't want him in their homes, they don't want him telling what food to eat, they sure don't want him telling what self-defense firearms to own and he can't buy America."

This truly is Wayne Lapierre at his finest and is a classic 2 minute and 30 second clip everyone should see. Watch below to experience Lapierre destroying Bloomberg's nanny state gun control argument:
