What Sequester? Why Is Barack Obama Spending Your Tax Dollars On A Campaign Style ‘Jobs Tour’

Obama jobs tour begins in Austin Texas

Even though we are in the midst of "the sky is falling" made up sequester by the Obama administration and the White House is still closed to public tours, our ever crusading-for-his-own-cause President doesn't think twice about spending $182,000 an hour to fly Air Force One around the nation for a bogus "jobs" tour.

President Obama will start a campaign, tour, meet and greet, whatever you want to call it, we'll call it a propaganda push, this week as he flies to Austin Texas to kick off the "Middle Class Jobs and Opportunity Tour." Of course this "tour" will no doubt be filled with bogus jobs numbers and talking points about how the rich aren't paying their fair share and how bad the Republicans are and how they never want to compromise, and how good the stock market is doing, but as with 90% of what the Campaigner-In-Chief does, it will be completely lacking in substance. He of course won't be telling you that the stock market is doing good because the Federal Reserve is printing money like there is no tomorrow.

Let's not forget what Obama is doing here with his never ending campaigns, even in the midst of the so-called budget busting sequester. Barack Hussein Obama is spending copious amounts of your tax dollars flying around America promoting his agenda. Obama is not governing, he is campaigning for the progressive, left-wing socialist ideal as he has been doing ever since his days as a community agitator back in Chicago. That tactic has not changed one bit except for the fact that he now is the most powerful man in the world.

Obama is building a base not only for himself, but for the left leaning progressive agenda for decades to come. Has he really tried to bring our nation together? Has he really tried to get Congress to work together or has he vilified Republicans nearly every chance he gets? Has he promoted hard work, creating wealth, saving money, perhaps building a business and excellence all in one whole package? No, he has not and you can bet this latest charade of a "Middle Class Jobs and Opportunity Tour" will most certainly be no different.

How long will this fantasy continue?

President Obama will travel this week to Austin, where the jobs market has been booming, to kick off a new focus on the middle class and economic growth.

Obama is planning a campaign-style “Middle Class Jobs & Opportunity Tour” across the country, beginning Thursday in Austin, a magnet for new tech jobs. The push seems designed to help jump-start the president’s second term.

Obama’s momentum has stalled on Capitol Hill in the past few months, with the president unable to convince a divided Congress to pass any gun-control measures or to thwart the budget cuts known as the sequester. Over the past few weeks, Obama has been playing a so-called inside game, inviting selected senators from both parties to dinner in an effort to reach a broad accord on fiscal issues, but such a deal has eluded them – so far, at least.

Now, White House officials hope that Obama, by campaigning outside of Washington, can galvanize the public and pressure Congress to back his legislative agenda, including economic measures he outlined in February’s State of the Union address.

“Even though some in Congress are determined to create more self-inflicted economic wounds, there are things Washington could be doing right now to help American businesses, schools and workers,” Josh Earnest, deputy White House press secretary, said Sunday. “We need to build on the progress we’ve made over the last four years, and that means investing in things that are already creating good-paying, stable jobs that can support a middle class family.”
